Insert Launches World's First Codeless Mobile Engagement Platform Offering Broad Set of Instant Features for Live Apps
Platform Powers a Broad Set of Engagement Features Publishable into Live Mobile Apps in Minutes Without Coding

TEL AVIV, Israel, February 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --

Insert emerged from stealth mode today, launching the world's first Codeless Mobile Engagement Platform. The platform offers mobile app owners a broad set of "inserts" - must-have mobile marketing features, all publishable in minutes into live apps with no coding. The company was founded by the people behind Worklight: the world's leading mobile application platform (now IBM MobileFirst).

The company's eponymous "inserts" are pre-built, essential features mobile marketers need to grow user engagement, including features for guidance, communication, conversion, acquisition and other engagement practices. Insert offers an alternative to mobile engagement platforms which typically require development efforts.

Insert's unique auto-discovery technology learns the app structure, real-time context and digital body language of the user. The browser-based editor then allows marketers to insert features and tools, define audiences, create triggers, and determine the context in which they are activated, all without coding.

"One of the main pain points app owners suffer is the 'creative lag'," said Insert Founder and CEO Shahar Kaminitz. "App owners devise wonderful ideas to grow their app engagement -ideas that are crucial as mobile becomes a prime channel for the enterprise. But then they hit a wall - mobile app development cycles are long, and many of these great marketing ideas get lost in the process or take too long to implement."

Insert's cloud-based platform addresses this 'creative lag' with a broad inventory of pre-built inserts which app owners can activate at the right 'mobile moment.' Examples include: App Walkthrough - a simple guide for onboarding new app users; Cart Reminder - a push message that deep-links to abandoned carts; Modify - allowing amends to any text or image anywhere in the app; Survey - ask the right question at the right time; Coupon - to reward users with special offers; and Mobile Tooltip - to call users' attention to specific app features.

"There are endless marketing ideas out there and our unique technology allow us to bring them quickly to life," said Kaminitz. "We're constantly adding new insert types to our catalog and invite our customers to share their novel ideas with us."

Insert's platform was successfully trialed by a number of leading companies and brands during private-beta. "The future of commercially meaningful engagement lies in personalization", says Emre Baran, CTO and Co-Founder at Qubit. "Our infrastructure enables clients to drive the smartest and most targeted customer experience in the market but we continue to evolve. Insert will enable us to give different users a far more nuanced and contextualized experience of the same mobile app."

Insert comes out of stealth mode following a $5M seed round last year from notable investors Shlomo Kramer, Founder and CEO of Cato Networks, as well as Mickey Boodaei and Rakesh Loonkar, both co-founders at Trusteer.

Insert will be showcasing at Mobile World Congress, Barcelona, February 22nd -25th at the APP Planet, Hall 8.1 Booth I16.

About Insert

Insert is the first Codeless Mobile Engagement Platform. It offers a broad set of must-have features - "inserts" - which can be launched into any live app in minutes, with no coding. Inserts are pre-built features and tools for guidance, communication, conversion, acquisition and other engagement practices.

Insert was created to help marketers and app owners overcome the "creative lag" - the time it takes an app-related idea to get from the whiteboard to the user's device.

The company was founded by the people behind Worklight: the world's leading mobile application platform (now IBM MobileFirst).
