Graphite is a mobile solutions company that works with mobile app companies, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and enterprises to build innovative solutions and services for Android devices based on its Secure Space virtualization technology. Graphite's System ROM is based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) with the Secure Spaces software embedded into the operating system.

Graphite's latest System ROM includes support for Google Nexus 5X devices, with support for Nexus 6P devices to follow soon after. Support for the legacy Google Nexus 5 ROM will also continue.

"The uptake of our System ROM with Secure Spaces for the Nexus 5 device has been very positive," said Alec Main, CEO of Graphite Software. "We are pleased to announce the Nexus 5X and Marshmallow support, which our community of users have been keenly anticipating."

The new ROM includes support for Hidden Spaces, which are completely hidden virtual phones within operating system that keep apps, data and accounts hidden, isolated and separately encrypted. Hidden Spaces are accessed from special apps, which are available on Google Play. There are a variety of Space apps, including free, paid and try before you buy, which disguise the entry point to the Hidden phone.

About Graphite Software's Secure Spaces

Secure Spaces is an Android virtualization platform that enables multiple virtual devices or "Spaces" to co-exist on a single device - such as a Personal Space, a Kids Space, a Work Space and a Secure Banking Space – with strong isolation between the Spaces.  This addresses not only fundamental Android security and privacy issues but it also enables Spaces to provide different user experiences in terms of apps, wallpapers, launchers and unique Space security settings, which leads to new forms of app discovery and distribution.
