Sonus is presenting its SBC as a Virtual Network Function (VNF) deployable as either an access or an interconnect SBC. The demonstration is comprised of the SBC SWe deployed in the HPE OpenStack environment and will display how virtualization advances the delivery of Cloud-based Unified Communications and Rich Communications Services. Sonus will also demonstrate:

  1. Auto-provisioning and auto-registration, enabling true elastic scalability and network-wide licensing, while eliminating manual configuration.
  2. Network-wide licensing for on-demand allocation of license from a common pool for easier license sharing between instances.
  3. Dynamic load balancing, removing the need for a front-end load balancer - reducing costs and enabling simpler network management.
